I created PAD Fab mainly for myself. I have PAD files available for all my commercial applications and had been using the free PAD Gen program made available for free from the ASP (Association of Shareware Professionals) on Windows.

I now do most of my development on a Mac and wanted a Mac PAD application. I searched for and found several for the Mac, but none that I really liked. So, I wrote my own, PAD Fab.

I decided to offer it as freeware so other Mac developers out there can use it if they want.
